Original Ceramic Large Relief Wall Pieces

This series of sculptures that hang on the wall started in 1992 and has continued. The relief wall pieces started because Kenney had been making plates for wall display for many years.

A natural progression is to stretch his art away from 2-D (plates) into 3-D. Organic form is an extension of nature whether it is plants or animals. To mix a three dimensional organic form with geometric imagery successfully is a challenging proposition. Kenney’s experience with ceramics and both design concepts has led to thought provoking series of original ceramic wall sculpture.
